Nogne O # 100 (Batch 100) Barley Wine

An outstanding American Barleywine. Pours a dark mahogany brown with some light getting through on the outside of the glass. Requires a hard pour to get a small to medium size head. Good sticky lacing.Strong aroma of caramel malts and a little chocolate. Taste is exceptional. A lice smooth caramel malty backbone with some elements of chocolate. This is balanced but not overwhelmed by a good infusion of C3 hops. Very tasty.Mouthfeel is rich and smooth with a good hops and alcohol bite at the finish. The alcohol is more warming than harsh.
