Mikkeller Spirits Black – R Version

Commercial Description:?The Black Series of spirits are what happens when you distill Mikkeller’s famous epic stout Black and age it in used barrels. These are essentially whiskeys produced from a finished beer given depth of flavor from the character imparted by the barrels in which they are aged. All weigh in at 86 proof.You guessed it–R is for rum. Rum barrels from the former Danish colony of Saint Croix are used to lend their round sweetness to the spirit. This took a Double Gold medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
