American Wild Ale 7.1 ABVCommercial Description:?During transport overseas early India pale ales were stored in wooden barrels. Beer experts suppose that some of those barrels were naturally inoculated with Brettanomyces a wild yeast. Brett IPA plays off this beer history by pairing Brettanomyces with multiple varieties of fruit-forward hops creating aromas of citrus and pineapple as well as light acidity in the beer¡¯s finish. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will benefit the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.
